Gibbs Elementary is slated to be the first school in southern Minnesota to achieve a LEED certification. The mechanical system consists of geo-thermal wells and multiple indoor air handling units containing energy recovery wheels, variable frequency drives serving variable air volume terminal units and displacement diffusers.
