Avera Cancer Institute is in the early stages of construction, it is the intent of the Owner to pursue LEED certification for this project. The heating, ventilating and air conditioning system serving the Avera Cancer Institute consists of a central boiler plant, high efficiency water-cooled chillers, central station custom-fabricated air handling units, variable air volume (VAV) terminals, an overhead air distribution system, and a direct digital temperature control and building automation system.
